A collection of coffees from small hold farmers in Hambela Woreda has been brought together for what can be described as am absolute show stopper! Handpicked and sorted cherries are sent to Tamrat Zerihun Washing Station that is just over 100km away. Here, the cherries are depulped before undergoing a dry fermentation for 24-72hours. The coffee is then washed in open concrete pools before drying for 18-24 days.

 

This beautiful coffee leaped off the cupping table with beautiful sweetness and subtle crisp acidity. Our roaster has an affininty for African coffees and this particular lot checked all of the boxes. Perfect for the pour-over specialist or the experimental home espresso guru!
