Cold Brew Coffee: Make It Quick And Easy At Home

I know it's the first week of September and you're probably thinking "where was this article in July?". The truth is I'm not sure, I dropped the ball, I apologize to all of my loyal readers. Better late than never though, right? So lets get into how you can make awesome cold brew in your home.

First off you'll need a pound of your favorite coffee. Preferably something roasted medium or light, we recommend our Ethiopian Limu. The coffee will need to be ground coarse, similar to how you would grind coffee for a french press.

Next you'll need a large container. You're going to pour the whole pound of coffee into the container. Then you're going to pour 9 cups of cold filtered water onto your coffee. Stir the mixture around for a few minutes.

Then you'll need to cover the container and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. Once you've patiently waited for your cold brew coffee to steep it's time to strain it. For the first strain pour the mixture through a sieve or a very fine strainer. Now that you've removed most of the large coffee grinds you need to strain it one last time to make sure your brew isn't chewy. Pour the cold brew through a coffee filter.

Now you have a very concentrated cold brew. We recommend diluting your mixture with equal parts water to the concentrate. Now add milk or drink it black. You have successfully made delicious cold brew in your kitchen. Share the recipe with your friends. Thank you for reading!
