I float down a stream, cool and bright,
A river of African coffee, sparkling in morning light.
 
I climb aboard a tiny raft,
Paddle with my spoon—I laugh and laugh!

The coffee flows fruity, clean, and sweet,
A little river I’m lucky to drink and meet.
 
I dip my mug, I take a sip,
Warm spice dances across my lips.
 
I drink my fill, no need to think twice—
For coffee, after all, is my favourite vice.
